The Shady Side Players is a side project combining the duo of JT Moring and Annie Rettic with Folding Mr. Lincoln (Harry & Nancy Mestyanek). It’s an upbeat musical experience for both the young and the old; bridging folk, Americana, bluegrass, country, blues, and folk rock. We perform both originals and covers, and the songs are characterized by meaningful witty lyrics, strong rhythms, melodic choruses, and well blended harmonies. J. T. Moring - vocals, guitar, mandolin, harmonica, and tin whistle. Annie Rettic - vocals, violin, dulcimer, and viola. Nancy Mestyanek - vocals, bodhran, cajon, and various other cool percussive instruments. Harry Mestyanek - vocals, mandolin, bouzouki, and guitar. The Shady Side Players can be found playing indoor and outdoor venues all around San Diego County. Come on out, say hello, and give us a listen.
