San Diego, California has been the launching pad for some of the most successful rock groups including Blink-182, Switchfoot, & P.O.D. Now the city is celebrating So Long Davey! as one of the most entertaining and thrilling bands that has ever rocked the city. From the hundreds of screaming fans at every show to rave reviews in magazine's such as the popular events publication, 944 Magazine who exclaimed that So Long Davey! is "destined for greatness" and chop full of "undeniable spark and charisma"! In its first week, their debut EP, "Another Planet" has already made it into Smartpunk.com's Top 100 selling CD's! And now So Long Davey! is clearly on its way to being the most addictive band in America! Frontman David Vaughn's electric stage moves and powerhouse vocals to guitarist James Austin's addictive hooks and dominating riffs, the band has captured popular rock and thrown it into realms of their own to create the signature sound that has gained them much notoriety. In 2007, So Long Davey! scored them coveted spots in San Diego's FM 91X's Festival and was selected as the supporting act for the Jedidiah Clothing sponsored Dance RAWR Dance Tour starring Family Force 5. On April 1st, 2008, So Long Davey! will pfficially release their highly anticipated EP, Another Planet. Smartpunk.com and iTunes have already signed on to feature the band's first release with much enthusiasm!
